First Day of Lent

Today, 6th Feb is the first day of Lent, ie the time when Christians prepare for Easter by thinking of things that they have done wrong. I have browsed into the net and found out a site which best describe what is Lenten season, and what does it means in daily Christianity life:

I went to a sunrise mass at CIC, JB today, which starts at 7 a.m., However we reached there by 6 a.m - earlier on I have sent Theresa to Airport as she will be celebrating CNY at Sabah with her beloved family. Fr Jojo is going back to ole hometown as well. So, there I was, with Eirin, being the first two to reach church and sit at hte front pew, waiting for the celebration to start. During the wait, I observed the serenity of the church - it was so quiet (except for the humming sound of the ceiling fans), it seems like the aura of Godliness is roaming throughout the church.

I was made humble over the short yet meaningful moment - and i remembered Fr Jojo remarks on such moment - Creation in front of the Creator. I am quite determined to examine my conscience during the whole Lenten season and improve it to be more meaningful in the eye of GOD. With the Lord's help, I am able to achieve this. AMEN.
